About Majid Al Futtaim Holding

Majid Al Futtaim Holding was established in 1992 with a vision to bring a new kind of retail and leisure experience to the United Arab Emirates and MENA (Middle East & North Africa) region.

This vision became reality with the opening of Deira City Centre in Dubai in 1995. The mall was the region’s first shopping and entertainment destination, which complemented retail stores with food outlets, cinemas, children’s entertainment and hospitality.

Since then, Majid Al Futtaim Holding has expanded its activities via three main corporate brands: Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Majid Al Futtaim Retail and Majid Al Futtaim Ventures. The current operations span over 12 countries in the MENA region with over 24,000 employees and a strong pipeline of new developments in both existing and new markets.
